REHOBOTH BEACH — The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office said a structure fire broke out Monday, July 1 around 3:20 p.m. at Surfside Chicken on the 20000 block of Coastal Highway.

Possible plans for new hotel in Surfside spark debate (Miami Herald)
In one corner: Mayor Charles Burkett, who cast the sole dissenting vote against the town's new code, which passed 4-1 in May. In the other corner: resident Silvia Coltrane, who said she plans to sell her vacant property at 9200 Collins Ave. to a hotel chain.
